Description of Challenge:

Wearable devices are a natural advance of electronics development and new materials that have been adapting to clothing elements. Such evolution represents a major progress in the technological integration with humans. Wearable devices may be found in products oriented to sports practices and health by monitoring of vital functions or in fashion industry articles to name a few. The number of applications in wearables has increased and generated new habits and behaviors thus attracting the interest by leading companies to the new possibilities open by this technology.

  • » New technologies of sensors / passive transmitters (batteryless);
  • » Systems for increase of connectivity with applications;
